According to the economic and trade bureau of Dongguan, three to five factory outlet centers will be built in Dongguan by June of 2010. Each center will receive subsidies of up to 15 million yuan from the government for 3 consecutive years.

These factory outlet centers will be a multifunctional products sales center for wholesale, retail and display of products. They will mainly serve the pillar industries of Dongguan and help enterprises explore domestic markets.

Factories entering the centers will enjoy a rent-free period for two years.
